Toastmasters International is an organization committed to helping its members become better communicators and more confident speakers.  Everyone who joins has in mind certain goals - and each week in Toastmasters Clubs across the world, these goals are being realized:

·         A sales representative learns to effectively communicate his product’s features and benefits to his customers - and closes the deal; 

·         A volunteer for a children’s advocacy group learns to speak sincerely about the cause - and increases donations and volunteers; 

·         A teacher learns to deliver lectures to her students with emotion, using gestures and anecdotes - and her students learn more;

·         A mid-level executive learns to control his visible nervousness when presenting to large groups – and he’s promoted to vice president and head of business development.   

Each time such achievement is won, a Toastmaster gains more confidence and is inspired to continue learning and growing, using these skills to build better lives.  The impact of the good communication and leadership skills does not stop with the member, however.  It spills over into all aspects of a Toastmaster’s life and community - making for better employees, better family members, better friends, better people.
