April 2005 T-Master Update

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

I like this quote from Eric Allenbaugh: “If you are serious about your goals, drop the conditions. Go directly to your goal. Be your goal! Conditions often disguise strategies for escaping accountability. Why not just take charge and create the experience you are looking for?”

Sounds a lot like what we are doing this year in District 16 by “Creating Our Futures!” Don’t take your eye off your goals as we enter the last quarter of the Toastmasters year. During April, recommit to Toastmasters and your personal plan for success. Then, when June 30 comes around, you can share a big smile of satisfaction with your fellow Toastmasters, your club, your district!

Fondly,
Jodi Santangelo, District Governor
District 16

Meeting Goals – Winning Prizes!

Hearty congratulations from Dan Brown (Lt. Gov. Education & Training) to District 16 Toastmasters who earned a CTM during February's Hot CTM Contest! Prizes have been ordered from TI and will be distributed when received.

District 16 will be having a leadership safari in May. We will be hunting for CLs, ALs and DTMs. By the way, do you know what it takes to earn a CL again? It may be easier than you realize.
