I like this quote from Eric Allenbaugh:
“If you are serious about your goals, drop the conditions. Go
directly to your goal. Be your goal! Conditions often disguise
strategies for escaping accountability. Why not just take
charge and create the experience you are looking
for?”
Sounds a lot like what we are doing this year in
District 16 by “Creating Our Futures!” Don’t take your eye off
your goals as we enter the last quarter of the Toastmasters
year. During April, recommit to Toastmasters and your personal
plan for success. Then, when June 30 comes around, you can
share a big smile of satisfaction with your fellow
Toastmasters, your club, your district!

YOU ARE INVITED! Come early and enjoy a wonderful
breakfast buffet before the contest. The contest will start at
10:30 a.m. RSVP is required. Let us know if you need Entry
Authorization (EAL) to Tinker Air Force Base. You MUST RSVP
and indicate that you need an EAL no later than April 3, 2005
by 5:00 pm. Please indicate whether you are eating breakfast.

Club Ballroom (formerly called the Officer's Club) located on
Tinker Air Force Base at 3900 Mitchell Dr., Bldg 5603.
DIRECTIONS FROM AIR DEPOT GATE: Make a right on Arnold Street,
go to the first light and make a left on Mitchell, make a left
at the first entrance. You will see the parking lot on your
left.
Division O – April 16
The Division O
contest will be held on April 16 in the small auditorium at
the North MacArthur Church of Christ in OKC. Registration
begins at 9:15 a.m. A continental breakfast will be provided.
Contest begins promptly at 9:45 a.m. Cost is $3.00 per person.
Charlotte Howard, Immediate Past District Governor, will serve
as Toastmaster. Delores Myles will serve as chief judge. We
have 5 outstanding speakers competing. "Swing into Spring" at
the Division O International Speech Contest. Any questions or

Division T – April 23
The
Hardesty Library is not available for our contest, however,
Jim Carrol has graciously arranged for us to use the Scottish
Rite "FREE OF CHARGE"! Please make a note of this

Hurrah for the "Shawnee Evening Toastmasters" who
chartered on March 28. Congratulations to all of the members,
