District 16 members are invited to become members of the District's Speakers Bureau. This community service provides speakers for free to churches, schools, and civic organizations. You must be at least a CTM or CC and have at least three 20 to 30 minute presentations "in the can." Toastmasters from across the state of Oklahoma are invited. Speakers Bureau

The District 16 Speakers Bureau was established as a voluntary organization to serve businesses, civic organizations, churches and the educational community. The Bureau is comprised of several multi-talented Toastmasters who have attained advanced levels of speaking and leadership skills.

Their primary focus is to present a variety of interesting, fun and educational presentations that can be tailored to the needs of your audience and vary from approximately 20-40 minutes.

Types of speeches? Motivational, inspirational, humorous, historical, technical. Speeches that address concerns of the elderly and differently abled, stress, change, financial strategies, storytelling, etc. Also available are several experienced "Meeting Facilitators" "Emcees" or "Keynote Speakers" for your next business or dinner meeting.     Lynn has had extensive experience with difficult people. His best friend nearly drowned him; his first love jilted him; and at the zenith of his career, his company dumped him. Finally, good fortune smiled on Lynn.

    Today he is a professor with the University of Oklahoma teaching on U.S. Military bases all over the world.

She and her husband, Steve, have co-authored a book on leadership in the volunteer organization. Together they are entertaining, amusing, and bring a touch of class to their presentations.

    Oscar Womack, Jr., is the owner of Coherent Contracts, LLC (Oklahoma City, OK) which provides a wide range of contract management support services to Government primes and subcontractors. Recognized as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager and Certified Purchasing Manager, he is a retired officer from the U.S. Air Force where he focused on systems acquisition management. His professional and community affiliations include (among many others) the American Society for Quality, Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium and Midwest City Rotary Club. He holds an MBA from the George Washington University and a bachelor's degree from Hobart College in Geneva N.Y.
